The Doctor and the patient

A person who wants to die is told to do things to increase his life. He has been living like a zombie for the past many years flying with the wind wherever his friends blow him. He laughs and eats with them. Not a single person actually knows him. No one even knows what his favorite food is.
He too seems to think about all the things he wanted stand out far back in time. There is no craving to get to those desires. The only desire of dying is stuck in his heart and he doesn’t care about anything anyone tells him.
He has become quiet in all those discussions he has to be a part of which all tell him to do things to lead a “long and healthy” life. All those suggestions in the discussions are to the point and will be really helpful to increase a healthy lifespan.
He is virtually sitting in a hospital room with white and grey walls, and those discussions are just like the cars honking out on the streets near the ward. He wants to tell the Doctor to remove the life support. The Doctor says that he has given him life and will wait for it to end naturally. The person on the bed is doing everything he can to end his life. But alas the Doctor is saving his life when he wants it to end and the Doctor will be taking his life when he would want to live longer. This piece might not be that coherent and easy to comprehend. But hey! Has anything connected to a human being ever been simple :)
